The Drawer Reversal
Two old drawers, a pair of sconce holders, and absolutely no plan when I started.
The Original
I spotted these two drawers at an estate sale and grabbed them. I had no idea what I was going to do with them, but I figured I'd come up with something.
The Process
Once I got them home, I removed the handles and stood the drawers upright. I filled the holes, sanded them down, and painted them black, but something was missing. Then I found a pair of old oval sconce holders that gave them a little more character.
The Result
Two old drawers became a matching pair of DVD shelves. The oval tops gave them the finishing touch they needed, and I found a new home for part of my movie collection.
