Industrial Coffee Table
I saw this piece of metal wall art and thought it would make a great table. A metal base and a square of glass over the recessed artwork made it work.
The Original
I started with a piece of metal wall art that had an interesting mix of textures, colors, and shapes. It took a while to find the right base, but eventually I found a table with exactly the structure I needed.
The Process
I attached the metal artwork to the table base, then added a square piece of glass over the recessed center to create a flat, usable surface without covering up the original design.
The Result
The finished table keeps the colors and textures of the original wall art, with the glass providing a practical surface. What started as something to hang on a wall now has an entirely different purpose.
